Most dog parents hit a point where it starts to feel like too much. And it doesn't have to stay that way.
If this sounds like you...

You brought home a dog, expecting cuddles and fun... but now it feels like chaos.
Your dog is jumping constantly, pulling you all over the neighborhood, and you're constantly struggling to get them to listen.
You love your dog, but honestly, you find yourself wishing for a break from all the chaos, and it's starting to feel like your bond is slipping away.
You’ve tried tips online, treats, maybe even classes… and nothing seems to actually make things better.
And let’s be honest...
Your sanity, sleep, and your home life depends on getting this right. But right now, you feel stuck.
What if you didn’t have to do this alone?
What if you had a step-by-step plan, expert guidance, and support to turn your wild child into a happy & well behaved dog?

Your dog just doesn’t understand you the way you think they do.
Dogs don’t think in words. They think in patterns.
So when you say “come” or “sit”. Your dog isn’t thinking, “I should listen.”
They’re thinking:
👉 what has this meant before?
👉 what usually happens after this?
👉 is it worth it right now?
And for most dogs, the pattern isn’t clear. Sometimes “come” ends the fun. Sometimes it turns into repeated cues and bribes.
So your dog learns:
👉 sometimes its fun
👉 sometimes its bad
👉 sometimes ignoring works even better
That’s why it feels inconsistent. Your dog isn’t being difficult. They’re following the pattern that makes the most sense to them.
And without realizing it… your dog is training you too.
And until that pattern changes… their response won’t either.

Pulling on the leash, ignoring you, and walks that feel stressful →
A dog who walks calmly, stays with you, and actually listens outside
Listening at home… but completely tuning you out around distractions →
A dog who understands what you’re asking and can follow through when it matters
Jumping, barking, reactivity, or behaviors that feel overwhelming or unpredictable →
A dog who is calmer, more stable, and able to make better choices
Feeling frustrated, confused, or like you’re doing something wrong →
Feeling confidence in how to handle your dog and real progress you can feel day to day
You’re not doing anything wrong, and your dog isn’t broken.
You just need a clear way to guide them.
When you understand how to build structure, communication, and confidence the right way, everything starts to make more sense and gets a lot easier.

"We have seen MAJOR results already in a week."
"Kaiden is amazing! We are grateful we did this route instead of a group puppy class. Along with basic training, Kaiden has helped us with a puppy schedule for crate training, potty training, puppy chewing and nipping, leash walking and leaving all the snails sticks and rocks alone. We have seen MAJOR results already in a week." – Patrick H.

" We saw amazing progress"
"Wow- Kaiden is amazing!! He worked with our puppy and we saw amazing progress. She loved working with him and seemed to really want to learn. She is 7mos old now and knows all her commands. Her crazy puppy behavior is improved as well. We highly recommend No Paws like Home! Thanks Kaiden so much!" – Brenda C.

"Easily the best trainer I have ever worked with"
"Kaiden is easily the best trainer I have ever worked with. The moment we met he had such a calming demeanor to him and has continued that throughout every session. He is so easy to work with and is extremely flexible to my needs and my dog’s needs! You can see how passionate he is about training and is extremely knowledgeable! I feel so lucky to have come across him! I would highly recommend Kaiden to anyone!" – Veronica B.

Tell us everything
What you want your dog to be like, what’s not working, and what life actually looks like day to day. We’ll look at your dog, how you’re handling things now, and figure out what needs to change.
We'll guide you
We’ll show you exactly what to do, work with you and your dog together, and keep things on track so you’re not guessing or falling off halfway through. You’ll know what to do, when to do it, and why it works.
We’re still here
As your dog grows and things change, you can always come back, ask questions, and get help from people who already know you and your dog.
If you’re thinking “ok wait this actually makes sense”… let’s talk.

You want someone to “just fix your dog” without changing anything on your end
You prefer harsh or punishment-based methods over a relationship-based approach
You’d rather wait it out and hope things improve on their own
You’re not willing to be consistent or follow through outside of lessons
You’re looking for a bandaid fix instead of something that actually lasts
You want a dog that actually listens in real life, not just in training lessons
You want to learn alongside your dog, not just hand them off
You care about doing this right and want to raise a dog you’re proud of
You want clear guidance instead of guessing or trying random advice
You’re ready to invest the time and effort to get real, lasting results
If you read through that and it felt like you, the next step is simple. We can talk through what’s going on with your dog and figure out what would actually help.

You keep trying to piece this together on your own and hope it clicks…

You don’t need a perfect dog. You just need a clear plan.
We’ll help you figure out what’s going on and what to do next.
If this feels like what you’ve been needing, fill out the form below and we’ll start there.
You’ll fill out the form, book a time to chat, and we’ll talk through your dog and what’s been going on. From there, we’ll give you a few options based on what you actually need, and you can decide what feels like the best fit.
We focus on a relationship-based approach. We teach first, build understanding, and then add accountability where it’s appropriate. The goal is a dog that understands what to do, not one that’s just being controlled.
A big part of that is clear communication between you and your dog. We use a game-based style with practical training games you can actually use in real life, so it’s easier (and honestly more fun) for both of you.
If you’re a bit of a dog nerd and like knowing the “why” behind things, we follow the LIMA training methodology, which is the standard across major professional training organizations… but don’t worry, we’ll keep it simple unless you want to go full nerd with us.
Yes. We’re fully insured and have formal training and continuing education behind what we do.
We focus on what actually works in real life. Everything we teach is based on hands-on experience with dogs and owners, not just theory.
If you want the specifics, our small team of three trainers holds certifications through CCPDT and IACP, serves as AKC evaluators, and has additional certifications in canine nutrition and fitness, along with formal degrees in canine behavior science and psychology.
We’ve also been recognized as a Nextdoor favorite, received a Global Recognition Award, and have been featured on TV.
Most of our training is done in your home and real-life environments, where the behaviors are actually happening. That’s where the real progress happens.
We also offer lifetime free group classes for continued support and practice in some of our programs, so you get both real-life training and structured exposure when it makes sense.
That’s more common than you’d think, especially with some of the big box trainers around here.
A lot of families come to us after lessons or board and trains where it felt good in the moment… but didn’t actually carry over at home. They were shown what to do, but not how to make it work in real life. That’s usually when people start to feel like it’s their fault.
You didn’t fail training. The training failed you. We do it differently. We look at your dog, your lifestyle, and how things are actually going, then build a plan around that and guide you through it so it works where it matters.
Everything we do is customized, so pricing depends on your dog, your goals, and the level of support you’re looking for.
Most people come to us after trying other options that didn’t quite work, and are looking for a more hands-on, personalized approach that actually translates to real life.
After we get a feel for what you and your dog need to learn, we’ll walk you through a few training program options and you can choose what feels like the best fit.
Some people just need a handful of lessons to get things on track. Others want more built-in support, like ongoing guidance, group classes, and long-term help as their dog grows. It really depends on how much support you want.
We usually get started pretty quickly once we’ve talked and made a plan.
We keep our schedule intentionally limited so every client gets the time, attention, and support they need. Because of that, we only take on a small number of new puppy families each month.
If you’re feeling ready to get started and want help now, it’s best to reach out sooner rather than later so we can find a time that works.
No. The earlier you start, the easier everything tends to be.
A lot of families begin training the first week their puppy comes home, and some even start before their puppy arrives so they feel prepared from day one!
At that stage, we’re not expecting perfection. We’re focusing on simple habits, clear communication, and giving you a few things to work on day to day so everything starts moving in the right direction.
It’s much easier to build the right habits early than to fix them later.
Yes. We hear that all the time.
Some dogs are more intense, more independent, more sensitive, or just wired a little differently. That doesn’t make them a lost cause, it just means we need to approach things in a way that actually fits them.
We work with all breeds, including the ones people love to call “stubborn.” Most of the time, it’s not stubbornness, it’s a mix of genetics, energy, and communication gaps.
Once you understand how your dog learns and what they respond to, things usually start to make a lot more sense. Your dog isn’t broken. We just need to meet them where they’re at.
